Personal

The Gentler Professor™

Some years ago, I began a service called The Gentler Professor™, in which I provide customized, one-on-one computer training for people who, for one reason or another, haven’t had a chance to pick up sufficient computer skills from other sources.

I still recommend that people start by investigating any number of low-cost or even free sources of training that comprise my competition. However, The Gentler Professor™ is still available for people who:

  • Would prefer one-on-one rather than classroom training
  • Want the training on their own computer
  • Would like to have the training in their own home, on their own schedule
  • Would like to specify their own areas of interest, rather than follow a pre-determined lesson plan
  • May need some basic troubleshooting, or help understanding instructions from their contacts with phone tech support.

As always, more details available at gmarus@flash.net.
